Ailen Salazar Bravo is a Senior Consultant in EY’s People Advisory Services (PAS) practice. She is a change experience, culture, and communication consultant. Through her experience in Workforce Advisory, Ailen has had first-hand experience in supporting communication efforts, along with leadership, culture, development, and DE&I initiatives at local and global firms. She constantly finds ways to bring her passions and knowledge to continue to help clients navigate short- and long-term changes. Internally, she is involved in supporting PAS Recruitment as the Referral Program Lead and Cornell Lead; the Ripples Taskforce as the Supporting Next Generation Lead; College MAP as co-Program Director; Latino Professional Network as a member of the Steering Committee; and internal PAS DEI initiatives as a Lead.
Outside of work, Ailen sits on the Board of Heart of Los Angeles, where she once was a student. She is also a Next Gen Council Member of LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. She enjoys traveling and exploring wherever adventure, knowledge, and culture lies as part of her journey to be a lifelong learner.
Ailen earned her bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Spanish from Cornell University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also completed five minors in Latina/o/x Studies; Latin American Studies; Inequality Studies; Anthropology; and Law and Society, which has allowed her to explore many issues and communities she is passionate about. Ailen is also a mentor to numerous students, and she continues to find ways to give back to her communities through mentorship to empower students from historically marginalized communities in their aspirations. She is an alumna of Ednovate schools, graduating as USC Hybrid High Class of 2017’s Valedictorian.
