CEO reflection on our first month of the school year.

Dear Friends of Ednovate,

On the first day of the new school year, I met Netian, a 9th-grade student who arrived in Los Angeles just three months prior. His face carried a mix of nerves and a beautiful smile as I saw our dedicated South LA College Prep team welcome him with high fives and encouragement for his first day in a U.S. classroom. Neitian’s story is one of thousands at Ednovate and I know that each of our schools have created environments so that all students, regardless of their background or zip code, can prepare for success and create
Positive Multigenerational Change

We cannot do this work alone. Your support for Ednovate allows us to do this work year in and year out. I am excited to share with you a few highlights from our strong first month:

  • 100%+ Enrollment: With population decline and increased competition, families are still choosing Ednovate schools to help them fulfill their educational dreams

  • Pre-pandemic Attendance: Our average daily attendance is near pre-pandemic levels

  • Strong Staff Start: We have a less than .3% job vacancy rate and 100% retention among key school and network leadership positions throughout our organization.

As we look ahead, our Board of Directors and Leadership team are united in our commitment to serving more students in need. We are determined to make a lasting impact by doubling our size by 2030. Here's how you can contribute to expanding college prep education for more students:

Thank you for entrusting us with your belief in our work and for being an integral part of the Ednovate community.

Better Together,
Oliver Sicat
CEO and Co-founder, Ednovate
